1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Maisonza, including public property discovery, accounts, professional profiles, listings, enquiries, messaging, lead-management tools, analytics and paid property promotions.
By creating an account, publishing content, purchasing a promotion or otherwise using Maisonza, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Maisonza's role
Maisonza provides a technology marketplace that helps users discover properties and connect with property professionals. Unless Maisonza expressly states otherwise for a specific listing or service, Maisonza is not the owner, seller, landlord, estate agent, legal adviser, surveyor, lender or insurer for a property transaction.
Property negotiations, inspections, due diligence, contracts, deposits, transfers and completion arrangements are between the relevant users and professionals. Users should independently verify information before making a financial or legal commitment.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure and promptly update material account information. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless the activity results from a security failure attributable to Maisonza.
You must not impersonate another person or organisation, create accounts for abusive or deceptive purposes, or attempt to access another user's private account or dashboard.
4. Professional accounts and listings
Professionals must have the authority to market each property they submit and must provide information that is accurate, current and not misleading. Listing media must be lawfully usable and must not infringe third-party rights.
Maisonza may review, reject, suspend, unpublish or remove listings or professional accounts where information appears inaccurate, unsafe, unlawful, misleading, duplicated, fraudulent or inconsistent with marketplace standards.
5. Verification and trust indicators
Maisonza may offer professional verification, listing review, badges or other trust indicators. These features show that specified checks or review steps were completed at a point in time; they are not a guarantee of a person's conduct, property condition, ownership, legal title, transaction outcome or future performance.
Users remain responsible for appropriate identity, ownership, legal, technical and financial due diligence before entering a transaction.
6. Enquiries, messaging and lead tools
When you send a property enquiry, the information you provide may be shared with the professional responsible for that listing so they can respond. Messages must be lawful, relevant and respectful.
Professional CRM fields, follow-up information and private notes are provided as workflow tools for the professional account and are not part of the buyer or renter's public conversation view.
7. Property promotions and payments
Maisonza may offer paid property-promotion packages that increase placement priority or visibility for a defined period. Promotion does not guarantee views, enquiries, transactions, revenue or any particular commercial outcome.
Prices, currency, duration and other purchase details are shown before payment. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Billing questions should be sent to info@maisonza.com. Any refund rights or remedies remain subject to applicable law and any specific terms presented for the relevant purchase.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use Maisonza for fraud, scams, unlawful discrimination, harassment, spam, malicious software, unauthorised scraping, security attacks, deceptive listings, money laundering, infringement of intellectual-property rights, or any activity that violates applicable law.
You must not bypass access controls, interfere with platform availability, reverse engineer protected systems where prohibited by law, or misuse non-public information obtained through Maisonza.
9. Content and intellectual property
You retain ownership of content you submit, subject to any rights held by others. By submitting content to Maisonza, you grant Maisonza a non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, adapt for display, distribute and present that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote and improve the marketplace.
Maisonza's brand, software, interface, design, original content and related intellectual property remain protected by applicable intellectual-property laws and may not be copied or commercially exploited without permission.
10. Third-party services and links
Maisonza may integrate with payment, authentication, hosting, communications, monitoring or other third-party services and may link to third-party websites. Those providers operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Maisonza is not responsible for third-party services outside its reasonable control.
11. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Maisonza reliable, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may be changed, improved, limited or discontinued as the service evolves, subject to applicable law and any commitments associated with paid services.
12. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Maisonza is provided on an 'as available' basis. Property information is supplied by users and professionals and should be independently verified.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Maisonza will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from property negotiations, third-party conduct, inaccurate user-submitted information or services outside Maisonza's reasonable control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Suspension and termination
Maisonza may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse, comply with law, address non-payment, enforce these Terms or protect platform security. Where appropriate, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you under applicable law. The parties should first attempt to resolve disputes in good faith before pursuing available legal remedies.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Maisonza evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
